Women Celebrated at Beckett Gamer Magazine

I caught wind of this story first at Bethesda blog, and followed it around to Beckett Massive Online Gamer magazine.

It appears like their November/December issue this year will feature “Top 10 Most Influential Women of MMOs.”

The best part about the article? It isn’t being listed as “The 10 Hottest Women in MMOs,” or “The 10 Women with the Least Clothes in MMOs,” but respecting these women for their influence. Recognizing them for, essentially, their power.

How hot is that?

According to the Beckett site, the list will feature;

Yvonne Bridges, Tracy Seamster (Zenimax/Behesda Softworks), Kristen Demeza, Melissa Meyer (Blizzard Entertainment), Torrie Dorrell, Laralyn McWilliams, Rosie Rappaport (Sony Online Entertainment), Irena Pereira (38 Studios), Em Stock (Paragon Studios), and Courtney Brown Simmons (Disney Interactive)

Don’t worry, I have every intention of trying to get in touch with at least a few of these women and both thank them for being there as well as ask them if they have time to give us a few words here at the site.

To the women recognized, congratulations!
